Volunteer Application

NOTE: If you have already been a reading mentor and want to participate this year, there's no need to reapply—just compete the Returning Mentors form.

 Thank you for your interest in becoming a Reading Mentor! As a reminder, you are committing to read at the same time, at the same school, with the same child each week from September to May. Commitment differs for Shared and Flextra volunteers.

Here is the application process:
1. Complete the application and code of conduct. All required fields are noted.
2. Complete the background check using the link on the following page. The link will also be emailed to you. All volunteers are required to complete and pass a background check.
